Hi all! This is my first post so please bear with me 
I'm looking at an Ep3 Civic, likely '04/'54 plate. I currently drive an early 2000s Ford Ka and desparately want it gone - however I'm a little confused about selling it. I recently took on more hours at work so my finances are in much better shape for a new car which I've wanted for a long while now. And so I was wondering if selling the Ka would count as taxable income as I didn't buy it myself? I've looked at sites like this after tax calcualtor but I can't find much else on it myself so could use some advice.
On another note - is there anything I should be on the look out for when looking at this gen of Civics? I'm looking at lower mileage well-kept ones but could use a few pointers.
