I was always under the impression that all premieres where on 55 plates . Am I completely wrong in thinking this or not . I've found one I'm interested in buying but it's on a private plate so I've done a check on it and the original reg is 05 . The car looks mint but I want to be sure it's the real deal . Is there anything on the log book to confirm its a premier

Year date of the reg doesn’t always relate to the age of the vehicle. It could of been registered just before cut off date before it went over to 55 (September 2005)
On the other hand, I’ve seen 06 and 56 premier editions where they’ve probably been sitting in stock for a long time and not registered by the dealership
