First time Type R owner.

I have a couple issues needing looked at.

First is I have water getting into my boot. Any idea where to start looking to sort this?

Second issue is it is very stiff to get into gear. No crunching etc just very stiff when selecting gear. Again any ideas? Hoping it's clutch rather than gearbox!

I would start with the rear light seals mate.
When was gearbox oil changed last?

Light seals, aerial base, fixings behind bumper etc the list goes on with ep3 boot leaks, mine was like Swiss cheese and i could never find out where it was Getting in, ended up drilling a small drain plug in the floor pan. Gear box wise you could change the gearbox oil, also try putting some lithium grease on the shifter mechanism behind the gear gator.
