Not realy as if the cam chain has moved a tooth or two the valves could be close

I'm sure some one else can help

whats significant about : The binary number 11110111 converts to 247 in Decimal and F7 in hex.

Sounds like worn timing chain guides to me dude . It will need checking ASAP . You could always put a mechanic stethoscope on the cam cover and listen for metal on metal whilst someone starts it up ..
