Hi,
I am looking at buying a 2004 Honda Civic Type R. I am 19 Years old and looking for some advice about the car.
Before buying the car dose anyone know of anything I should lookout for when I go to look at the car?
Also when I go out on a test drive as well?

Additionally if anyone knows of any good insurance companies to go with for a person of my age would be appreciated.

Thanks
Cameron

That should answer most questions.
A few other points. Very low clutch biting point. Worn clutch pressure plate and will need a new clutch.
Decent service history and check the oil level is on max.
Funny noises or rattles on start up. Could be either starter motor or worse case timing chain rattle.

As for insurance at your age, good luck.
