Just got pulled over by the police for no reason (so i thought)!! I got out and he said to me "your chrysler crossfire has no insurance'' i was like WTF??? am i on some hidden camera show or something... he started checking my chassis numbers and asking me who i was insured with (which i couldnt remember) so he got abit suspicious  he then told me my reg came up on hes ANPR computer as a crossfire with no insurance, i instantly thought id bought a stolen car  anyway i finally realised that when i purchased my new Jap plates back in August i got the last 2 letters the other way round  and hadnt noticed for 6 months !!! Im really suprised i never got pulled over before though....lol oh well i are a numpty

I'd be very concerned if someone accused me of driving a Chrysler Crossfire.

They put my car in as reported stolen, having put a digit wrong in their system. I got pick up on a camera and somehow they got my mums number, where I haven't lived for 12 years and she gave them my mobile number, they call me up and said are you driving down the M5 with a female passenger...

Funny the same thing happened to my mate in his golf, only his was somewhat more brutal as he was pulled from the car by a cop, he didn't see who was dragging him out and immediately thought he was being jacked and started swinging fists only to realise it was the rozzers. He'd done the exact same thing when getting his new plates made up. Funny how the cops didn't realise how he was driving a golf and the registration which came up on their APNR showed the car was a stolen Bora/Passat :???:

yeah he's lucky. Last xmas a few of my mates were out clubbing and they got into a fight in the club and got kicked out, anyway the blokes that started on my mates in the club followed them home, and as they got into the train station they tried jumping my mates again. My mates kicked the s**t out of them and as they were in the middle of fighting 2 men joined the fight. My mates beat the crap out of these men also braking there nose and braking the others wrist, only to find out there undercover police, but never stated that before they jumped into the fight!! I have a copy of it on dvd from the CCTV at the trainstation, its very amusing to see my 6ft 6 mate pick up old bill and toss him across floor  they all got maximum community service and just avoided prison

I had a bit of an experiance with the police too.....

I was looking to sell my civic and couldn't wait to get a new car so I bought a 56 plate Audi S3, within Three months of owning the car I had the police come through my door and drag me out of bed, within Five seconds of that door coming off I was pulled out of bed and pinned to the floor like I was being sat on by a sumo, the wifey got chucked on the floor too with my little baby being carried out the room. Some mother funker had cloned the car and carried out a bank job! Of course seeing people wave shotguns and having "my car" on CCTV I had a nice visit! In the end I had to get the CCTV footage from work to prove me and the car wernt in Coventry playing bad guy there at the time of the bank job. To top it all off, a few months after that I need to tax the car, I ring the dvla to ask why I've not been sent a tax renewal form, the nice woman on the other end informs me "you don't own the car anymore".....when I bought the car from an Audi garage it took ages to receive the log book, dvla posted my log book to someone else then realised the mistake and sent another one to me, the bloke who received my original log book then changed the car in to his name hence why it wasn't my car!! I've sold the S3 now and back in my civic :-)

I did exactly the same thing on an old rover when i first driving, got some pressed plates made up with the last two letters the wrong way round. It was only when i saw a car exactly the same as mine (colour and everything) for sale with the same plate, that i started panicking and thinking my car had been cloned. Only to find out I'd drove round for 6 months with the wrong number plates after checking my V5. FAIL.
