Hello guys

Quick question, any one of you installed ballpoints without the c clip on? It seems many manufactures does not supply c lips anymore with the balljoints.

Last time i installed the buddyclubs without c clips they were popping off now and then destroying my abs ring.

Any one have had any luck?

I have buddy club ball joints and have no issues with them falling out, although like you said I've seen it happen on others. I froze the new ball joints and heated up the knuckle so they required minimal pressure to fit and didn't stretch the hole in the knuckle. I think if you press them in without the temperature difference you run the risk of stretching the hole and the ball joint popping out.
Alternatively I've seen people tack weld the ball joint in after fitting. But this could cause issues later on if you need to change the ball joint again.

I've had buddyclub ones installed, no issues at all. Again didn't come with any circlips, and I believe the ones that came out the hubs didn't have any circlips on either.

I guess there is a reason why Honda don't sell the ball joints seperate, and that is because of them popping out. I would imagine you could get away with replacing them once or twice, but anymore than that the sleeve might become too slack and not hold the joint in properly.
