My sister's red Corsa VXR, J*** **G was stolen overnight after her house was burgled and the keys taken.
She lives in the Stourbridge area of the West Midlands. Whilst I guess it could well be on false plates fairly soon any sightings or information would be appreciated.

I would feel exactly the same if it happened to me. I think my sister after a very traumatic day was just relieved to hear some positive news. She doesn't yet know the extent of the damage and I have advised her to get it mechanically checked out aswell as the bodywork.

I think the biggest concern for her is that the pieces of poo come back for it again. One disturbing thing was that they took a carving knife out of the kitchen drawer and left it on the worktop. This suggesting that they were prepared for any confrontation with the householder.

I didn't mention before that they also took her lodgers boggo Corsa which she needs to go to her teacher training placement. This is still outstanding and no doubt being ragged around some shithole estate in Brum. (which is where the other was found)

I hate giving in to these people but for the girls personal safety at home I have advised my sister to seriously consider changing her car to something less attractive to the vermin.

God i hate thieves that force people to buy cars they dont like and look crap just so they dont nick them.

Ill be putting proximity sensors on my ctr when i get it, and the second i hear it going off during the night, ill be to my window in seconds with my air rifle.
The law is no good nowerdays, theres only one way to scare them off.

An assault rifle would be much more satisfying.

Agreed - but I've since learned that when my sisters car was searched after the pursuit, the cops found a sawn off shotgun and ammunition on the back seat. Please remember that some of these scumbags are dangerous and ruthless individuals and if you were to take one of these on you could very well be putting your life and that of anyone around you at serious risk.

I should also add that my sister has been hugely impressed with the quality of service received from West Midlands Police who she says have been excellent throughout. Lets not forget they, have taken two very dangerous criminals off the street who it is hoped will be banged up for a good while.
