Alternator not charging on k swap

I have copied the 'How to wire a charge harness' thread off k20a.org exactly and my battery still isn't being charged. I can watch the voltage drop on a multimeter. Could it be a fuse or bad connection somewhere? Or has my alternator packed up? Is there anything I can do to test the alternator? All help appreciated, Jack

check the connection at the back of the alt with the plug off to see what voltage its producing?
