I can't seam to be able to post on the mg site, I wanted to ask that v6 bloke what charger was on the 400bhp civic he left behind? And I've never known a rover 45 chassis is based on the dc2 chassis :salut:

Re: Bought a CTR but still have zs180
it makes me laugh when i hear folk say stuff like " a ctr will completely kill a zs 180 "....it will not, a ctr has 20 bhp more thats it, to really kill another car you need 100 bhp more than them, 20 bhp is very little .
Even around a lap of a race track its only worth a second at best.
I used to post on the civic forum and i often mentioned my zs and they would all laugh......so i did the usual and offered to meet them at trackdays....not one ever turned up, despite that i often met with many ctr's on trackdays and i never saw one that i couldnt use as a mobile chicane. I remember one at bedford with a magazine there doing a feature on it as it was super charged and all the rest blah blah blah, running 400 horse power, in 1 lap i went from being 100 metres behind to 200 metres in front with half the power....and yeah they say he obviously wasnt trying .....well thats funny because the ctr driver came to speak to me, and his jaw hit the floor when i told him my cars power, but what really shocked him was how he just couldn't live with the zs through the corners..lol
The ctr boys laugh when you say the zs will out handle them , they forget its basically an integra dc2 chassis, which was noted as being just about thebest front driver ever.
